Palyanytsia, Ruta, Hell. Why Ukraine produces drone missiles and what are their prospects
The countdown for this weapon began in 2024, when Ukraine first used a new domestic development in the war against Russia – the Palyanytsia drone missile .
Over the past year, the line of mini-missiles has already been replenished with new developments. A notable trend has been the blurring of the distinction between "real" cruise missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles (kamikaze missiles). It should be emphasized that drone missiles are produced so covertly that even representatives of the Ukrainian defense industry often have no idea which companies are involved.
In fact, we are not talking about drones anymore, but about their hybrids, which in the Ukrainian military lexicon are designated as "missile drones" – in 2024-2025 they already reached speeds of 650-750 km/h and achieved the ability to carry a warhead weighing 50+ kg.
From this analytics you will learn:
- how Palyanytsya, Peklo and Ruta differ from conventional missiles
- whether drone missiles can replace cruise missiles
- what large-scale damage to state-owned defense plants indicates
- who will support the production of Ukrainian drone missiles with money.
