Valentin Badrak

Writer, expert in national security and defense, and head of the Center for Army, Conversion, and Disarmament Studies (since 1999).

Graduated from the Ryazan Airborne School (1989) and Kyiv National Linguistic University (1997), PhD in Philology (2000). Author of three novels, one of which is dedicated to the training of airborne and military intelligence (GRU GS RF) officers, as well as the operations of the Russian intelligence network in Ukraine during 2006–2010. In addition, he is co-author of two books on the Russia–Ukraine war in 2022–2024 together with Volodymyr Horbulin, First Vice President of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
