Suspicion of Klitschko's ex-deputy and pressure from the OP: what is behind the internal war for Kyiv?

"Such a dirty struggle looks especially cynical in times of war," says LIGA.net Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko on the intensification of the confrontation between the Kyiv City State Administration and the President's Office.

The confrontation between Klitschko and Bankova culminated in the appointment of Timur Tkachenko to the "alternative" position of head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, and the redistribution of powers, according to the Kyiv faction of the Servant of the People. In a comment to LIGA.net , Tkachenko himself denied any involvement in backroom games: "I do not consider my activities as a political struggle".
