And this was demonstrated publicly – he personally came to the hearings of the Senate Committee on Armed Services when Colby was nominated for the post of Under Secretary of Defense for Policy.

This was a precedent because the vice president usually does not attend such hearings. It is Colby, not Hagseth, who is responsible for all Pentagon strategies.

It's a pity that in our country (I mean among decision-makers), many people learned about Colby's existence only after the American media publicized who exactly made the decision to stop the aid.

That's why I keep saying that the diplomatic and analytical strengthening of our missions abroad has long been lame not on one, but on both legs. Because we need to know exactly who is pulling the strings and what strings, so that the diagnosis can be absolutely accurate .
