Born in 1966 in Sevastopol, studied for three years at the Sevastopol instrument-making institute. Since 1990 has been an employee of the weekly "Севастопольская газета". In 1994, he moved with his family to St. Petersburg, Russia, where he worked for book publishers and IT companies for 20 years. He is the author of hundreds of critical publications on popular literature and cinematography, as well as several works of fiction. Permanent member of St. Petersburg Writers' Seminar of Boris Strugatsky. In the summer of 2015, he moved to Kyiv. Since October 2015, he is a journalist, author of columns and editor of the LIGABusinessInform Information Agency. He also worked as an editor in the Krym.Realii project of Radio Svoboda.
